several Consumers of Peace within<lb></lb>

That for some time past the Common<lb></lb>
Market Price of Middling British British<lb></lb>
Pease of the new Corn Market in Mark Lane<lb></lb>
hath exceeded the Sum of thirty two Shillings<lb></lb>
the Quarterthe Continuance whereof your<lb></lb>
Petitioners apprehend will prove very Detrimental<lb></lb>
to the City in General and to your Petitioners in<lb></lb>
particular</p>
<p n="801">That your Petitioners are ready to make<lb></lb>
the Truth hereof appear and to prove the same<lb></lb>
in such manner as by the Statutes in that<lb></lb>
behalf is required</p>
<p n="802">Your Petitioners therefore most<lb></lb>
humbly pray that this Honourable<lb></lb>
Court will take their Case into consideration<lb></lb>
and proceed to examine and determire<lb></lb>
the common Market Price of middling<lb></lb>
British Pease as the same is now and<lb></lb>
has been lately bought and sold in the<lb></lb>
Markets of this City and to certify the same to his<lb></lb>
Majesty's Chief Officer and Collector of<lb></lb>
the Customs in such manner as by the<lb></lb>
Statutes in this behalf is required and<lb></lb>
directed</p>
