That for some time, past the Common<lb></lb>
Market Price of Middlling British white<lb></lb>
Pease at the new C<obscured></obscured>
Market in Mark Lane<lb></lb>
hath exceeded the Sum of thirty two Shillings<lb></lb>
the Quarter the continuance whereof your<lb></lb>
Petitioners apprehend will prove very detrimi<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
to the City in General and to your Petitioners in<lb></lb>
particular</p>
<p n="112">That your Petitioners are ready to make<lb></lb>
the Truth hereof appear and to prove the same in<lb></lb>
such manner as by the Statutes in that behalf is<lb></lb>
required</p>
<p n="113">Your Petitioners therefore most<lb></lb>
humbly pray that this Honourable<lb></lb>
Court will take their Case into consideration<lb></lb>
and proceed to examine and determine<lb></lb>
the common Market Price of middling<lb></lb>
British white Peace as the same are<lb></lb>
now and have been lately bought and<lb></lb>
sold in the Markets of this City and to<lb></lb>
Certify the same to his Majesty's Chief<lb></lb>
Officer and Collector of the Customs in<lb></lb>
such manner as by the Statutes in this<lb></lb>
behalf is required and directed</p>
