<p n="38">that their Informant waited on Mr. Stephenson punctually to<lb></lb>
the time appointed, but prior to his meeting the said Mr.<lb></lb>
Stephenson he this Informant saw the prisoner Flint and<lb></lb>
told him then was some Dispute about these Stones Flint<lb></lb>
declared three would be no Dispute for that he had had<lb></lb>
them from abroad, on which he requested Flint to go<lb></lb>
along witt him, to which he consented but going along<lb></lb>
he appeared to be confused a little and said he wished<lb></lb>
be their Informant had not carried them to the places to<lb></lb>
which he replied that it was a good shop, and that he<lb></lb>
durit say that his (Flint) was not affraid to go &<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

town his own Goods to which Flint said he was not<lb></lb>
he this Informant added he made no doubt but that they<lb></lb>

said Mr. Flint are not you a Pretty Fellow, for what, Flint<lb></lb>
applied, cox answered about these stones-Flint said they<lb></lb>
are mine, I had them from abroad, and then produced a<lb></lb>

Informant only as a Brother to sell them for him-says<lb></lb>
he has reced no money from Flint, that he expected seventh<lb></lb>
