That at the General Quarter Session of the Peace<lb></lb>
of our Lord the King holden for the City of London at<lb></lb>
the Guild hall within the said City on Monday the Eleventh<lb></lb>
Day of July one thousand seven hundred and fifty seven<lb></lb>
his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said City of<lb></lb>
London then and there assembled did in pursuance of an<lb></lb>
Act of Parliament passed in the thirtieth Year of the Reign<lb></lb>
of his late Majesty King George the second Intitled an<lb></lb>
Act to explain and amend an Act made in the Eighteenth<lb></lb>
Year of the Reign of the same King to prevent the Misbehaviour<lb></lb>
of the Drivers of Carts in the Streets of London and<lb></lb>
Westminster and the Limits of the Weekly Bills of<lb></lb>
Mortality and for other Purposes in the said Act<lb></lb>
mentioned Did unanimously assess and rate the prices<lb></lb>
for the Carriage of all Goods which should be taken<lb></lb>
up in the said City of London and carried by any<lb></lb>
licensed Carts or Car-rooms as well in the said City<lb></lb>
of London as from the said City of London into the<lb></lb>
City of Westminster or any other place or places not<lb></lb>
exceeding the Distance of three Miles from the said<lb></lb>
City of London and amongst other Things did Ordain<lb></lb>
and set Town the Rates following to be paid for the<lb></lb>
Cartage of Goods-to wit-from any of the Wharfs<lb></lb>
between the Power and London Bridge to Dyers Hall<lb></lb>
Coal Harbour Steel yard double Hood Warchouse<lb></lb>
Lawrence Pountney Lane three Cranes Queenhith<lb></lb>
Queen Street Hill College ill Dowgate Hill and<lb></lb>
several other places therein mentioned</p>
