heated them and had disagreed with each other, and requested this Informant<lb></lb>
to take one Hundred Pieces more, which this Informant refused to do,<lb></lb>
having no Money; upon which the said George went away and this<lb></lb>
Informant never saw him no more till he saw him in Custody, says that<lb></lb>
the Silk Handkerchiefs which this Informant hath delivered to Mr. John<lb></lb>
Clark are Part of the said Handkerchiefs which this Informant had<lb></lb>

he had a Quantity of Linen to tell that this Informant answered some Gentlemen<lb></lb>
had searched his house for Stolen Linen and supposed it to be the same they<lb></lb>
had searched for, that the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSLPS15084_n20-10">George Armstrong</rs>

answered the Marks were<lb></lb>
cut off by which means no parson could swear to them, therefore this In-<lb></lb>
formant was very safe in buying them; lays the said George brought to<lb></lb>
this Informant at different Times Thirty one Pieces of Irish Linen for<lb></lb>
which this Informant gave him a Guinea and half for Oath piece says he<lb></lb>
hath sold all the said Linens except one Piece to different Pedlars who Travel<lb></lb>
the Country; says he doth not know their names, not where they live</p>
