That for some time Past the Common Market Price of<lb></lb>
Middling English Oats at the new Corn Market in Mark<lb></lb>
Lane within this City has exceeded the Sum of sixteen<lb></lb>
Shillings the Quarter, the Continuance whereof your<lb></lb>
petitioners apprehend must prove very detrimental to the<lb></lb>
City of London in general and to your Petitioners in<lb></lb>
Particular</p>
<p n="175">That Your Petitioners are ready to make the Truth hereof<lb></lb>
appear and to prove the same in such manner as by the<lb></lb>
Statutes in that behalf is required.</p>
<p n="176">Your Petitioners therefore most humbly pray<lb></lb>
that this Honble Court will take their Case into<lb></lb>
Consideration and proceed to examine and<lb></lb>
determine the Common Market Price of<lb></lb>
middling English Oats as the same is now<lb></lb>
and hath been lately bought and sold<lb></lb>
in the Markets of this City and to certify<lb></lb>
the same to his Majesty's chief Officer<lb></lb>
and Collector of the Customs in such<lb></lb>
manner as by the Statutes in this behalf is<lb></lb>
required and directed.</p>
