Ship or Vessel with the said Salt on Board sailed out of the said Port<lb></lb>

and that on the Day following<lb></lb>
in the Forenoon as they these Deponents were proseding on the said Voyage<lb></lb>
the said Ship or Vessel being then off at Sea, a strong Gale of Wind<lb></lb>
ar use and continued to blow very hard and beat large Quantities of<lb></lb>
Water in upon the Deck of the said Ship whilst she lay to And that<lb></lb>
these Deponents and all the Ships Crew continued on board using their<lb></lb>
utmost Endeavours to save the said Ship and her Cargo till the Evening<lb></lb>
of the same Day when these Deponents and the Rest of the Ships Crew<lb></lb>
perceiving the said Ship or Vessel to be in Danger and their Lives<obscured></obscured>
ing<lb></lb>
Hazard by longer Continuance quitted her and by their Boat got into<lb></lb>
another Ship And that about twelve of the Clock the same Night they<lb></lb>
these Deponents left Sight of the said Ship on Vessel on which the said<lb></lb>
Salt was loaded as aforesaid when they verily believe the some Ship or<lb></lb>
Vessel sunk and perished of Sea on the Yorkshire Coast with all the said Salt on board her and<lb></lb>
that they have never seen or heard of her since</p>
