to the Compter he perceived he Apron to be very<lb></lb>
Bloody, & on Enquiring hav it came, she told<lb></lb>
Dept. that her Husband struck her at Crowson's<lb></lb>
(meaning a Publick House now kept by Mr-<lb></lb>
Combs) to which Dept. make answer that if<lb></lb>
her Husband had struck her she would have been<lb></lb>
bloody about the Head or Neck before her Apron<lb></lb>
would have been bloody, but Dept. saw no Blood<lb></lb>
