This Informant on his<lb></lb>
Oath Saith, that on Thursday the 23d. of May 1754. about a quarter<lb></lb>
before 7 in the Evening As he was coming out of the Collar and<lb></lb>
going up Stairs, he said Mrs. Finch the Deceased just before him<lb></lb>
and saw her give a Spring or jump with her hand on her breast<lb></lb>
And fell down flat on her face then saw a great Quantity of<lb></lb>
Blood as if came from her face, Says that she never spoke a<lb></lb>
Word, But heard a Voice say it is done but who it came from<lb></lb>
this Informant knows not, Says then he went and informd<lb></lb>
the person that keeps the Tap, That he believed Finch had Killd<lb></lb>
his Wife, further says that one Saturday Night Mrs. Finch was<lb></lb>
to have staid in the prison all Night, But on a Sudden she<lb></lb>
went to the Turnkey and desired to be let out; for it would be the<lb></lb>
means of Saving two Lives; And likewise heard her say that<lb></lb>
her Husband was determined to Minder her and himself to</p>

This Informant on his Oath saith that<lb></lb>
on Thursday Evening the 23d. of May 1754 he was at the Katch<lb></lb>
belonging to Ludgate prison, when One Bates came & informd<lb></lb>
him that Finch he believed had Murdered his Wife, Says upon<lb></lb>
that he went and saw her Laying at the bottom of the Stairs<lb></lb>
And presently Finch came down Stairs and said to this Informt.<lb></lb>
Mr. Fench I have done it, he said what have you done, Why<lb></lb>
says he I have Murdered my Wife and pulld out Razor, and<lb></lb>
said here is the Razor and May take it, Says about two<lb></lb>
Months age Mrs. Finch came to him to let her out Else she<lb></lb>
should be Murdered by her Husband.</p>
