That the Governours of the sd. Hopsital in the Year 1583, purchased a<lb></lb>
certain Parcell of Ground contiquors to & Adjoining to the said Hospital<lb></lb>
which was Parcell of the said dissolved Monastery upon which were then<lb></lb>
Standing certain Houses which after the sd. Purchase were Lett out to Tenants<lb></lb>
and the Rents arising thereby Appropriated to the Use of the Hospital & so<lb></lb>
continued down to the time when the Houses were pulled down as is hereafter<lb></lb>
mentioned.</p>
<p n="150">That about the Year 1732 the said Houses being in Decay and it being<lb></lb>
found necessary to enlarge the sd Hospital the Houses were by the direction<lb></lb>
of the said Governours pulled down and a certain Building called the Sick<lb></lb>
Ward built upon the Ground whereon the Houses before Stood, which<lb></lb>
Sick Ward now part of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSLPS15064_geo143">the Hospital</rs>

said Year 1732 when said Houses were so pulled down and demolished<lb></lb>

<p n="152">That the Sick Ward is Used for the reception of such of the Children of the<lb></lb>
Hospital who become Sick and for no other purpose & that the Governours have<lb></lb>
no other Stock or Estate in or Upon the said Sick Ward save & expect the Beds<lb></lb>
and other like furniture for the Accomodation of the Sick .</p>
