any means get to Liverpoole & about eleven in the Morning<lb></lb>
of the same day bore away for the Isle of Man thinking it the<lb></lb>
most proper place to get into & at two in the Afternoon the Wind<lb></lb>
abating it came on very thick Weather & about four of the<lb></lb>

twelfth of March the sd. Vessell all of a sudden made a great<lb></lb>
Quantity of Water so that they could not get the Pump to suck<lb></lb>
& on sounding found about two foot water in the Hold upon<lb></lb>
which they continued Pumping the sd. Vessell for an Hour &<lb></lb>
then thinking the water increased they sounded the sd. Vessell<lb></lb>
again & there was then four foot of water at her Hold & the<lb></lb>
water coming in so fast them they thought it was<lb></lb>
impossible to save the sd. Vessell from sinking & for the<lb></lb>
preservation of then Lives got the boat out of the sd. Vessell &<lb></lb>
the Compass & some other<obscured></obscured>
necessarys for Subsistance &<lb></lb>
about twelve of the Clock in the night of the same day they found<lb></lb>
that the water was up to the Steerege floor of the sd. Vessell &<lb></lb>
then there Deponents & the other Mariners on board the<lb></lb>
Vessell took to the Boat & veered a stern to see if the said<lb></lb>
Vessell would sink & about one in the Morning of the thirteenth<lb></lb>
day of the same Month seeing the sd. Vessell sinking they reced<lb></lb>
the Boat a small distance from her & the sd: Vessell sunk<lb></lb>
imediately under water then these Deponents & the sd. other<lb></lb>
Mariner made the best of their Way in the sd: Boat in order to<lb></lb>
Preserve their Lives & about three of the Clock of the same<lb></lb>
Morning they were taken up by a Vessell from Dublin bound for<lb></lb>
