<p n="345">The Court having ordd. a Prosecucon Bygrave was taken but ye Deft Nicholls made her Escape to France<lb></lb>
Bygrave was Indicted for Perjury, pleaded Guilty and dyed Soon after his Sentence</p>
<p n="346">The Deft having privately returned was by means of her Husband discovd. & charged with this Conspiracy<lb></lb>
and in I an Sessions 1741 a Bill of Indictmt. was found agt. her to which She pleaded Not Guilty<lb></lb>
Having contracted an Intimacy with One Mrs. Knible a Relacon of her husbands and having found Means<lb></lb>
to Persuade her of her Innocense She prevailed upon her in this her Distress not only to land her All<lb></lb>
ye Money She had or could borrow but to give her Notes of hand for Consble Sums and to land and pawn<lb></lb>
for her all most All her Cloaths Turniture and Effects to ye Great Prejudice of not only of herself but of a<lb></lb>
Mother and two Sisters Who subsisted upon a Small Pension yt had as a Lieuton of a Man of<lb></lb>
Warrs Widow</p>
<p n="347">Besides All Which She had likewise persuaded Mrs. Knibls to offer herself for one of her Bail and<lb></lb>
accordingly 10th. Feb 1741 Mrs. Knible went up with her to <rs type="placeName" id="LMSLPS15055_geo338">Westminster</rs>
