said County by a Single High wayman on Horseback<lb></lb>
who look from the said Post Boy and carried off the Exeter<lb></lb>
and Plymouth Bags of Letters as this Deponent has<lb></lb>
been informed and does verily believe And this Depont<lb></lb>
further Saith That he has been informed and does<lb></lb>
verily believe that there were several Letters in the<lb></lb>
said Baggs containing Bank Notes Bank Post Bills<lb></lb>
and Bills of Exchange to a large Amount particularly<lb></lb>
in one Letter Bank Post Bill to the value of Five<lb></lb>
hundred pounds for the use of the poor Sufferers by fire<lb></lb>
at Creditors and in another Letter Bills of Exchange<lb></lb>
Drawn from abroad on several Merchants in London<lb></lb>
to the Amount of Two thousand three hundred pounds<lb></lb>
and upwards and in another Letter a Bank Note for<lb></lb>
the Sum of<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
Twenty pounds which said several<lb></lb>
Letters with the said several Bills, inclosed were as this<lb></lb>
Deponent verily believes put into <rs type="placeName" id="LMSLPS15055_geo201">the Post Office</rs>
