That your Petitioner is an Inhabitant of the said parish<lb></lb>
of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSLPS15044_geo239">Christ Church</rs>

and an Occupyer of one house within the said parish the<lb></lb>
Rent and Taxes of which are paid by your Petitioner who is now rated.<lb></lb>
by the Church Wardens and Overseers of the said parish in much larger<lb></lb>
Sumes of money than he ought to be towards the Reliefe of the poor of<lb></lb>
the said parish which said rate or Assesment your Petitioner humbly<lb></lb>
Conceives is very Unequall Arbitrary and illegall in many respects and<lb></lb>
particularly for that diverse Inhabitants and occupyers of houses within the<lb></lb>
said parish some of which pay as large and others much larger rents<lb></lb>
than your Petitioner and whose trade and Circumstances Do Exceed or<lb></lb>
at least Equall your Petitioner are rated in much less Sumes of Money<lb></lb>
than your Petitioner and also for that the said rate or assessment is<lb></lb>
not made Equall according to the rents of the Houses and Circumstances<lb></lb>
of the Inhabitants within the said parish but at the discretion of<lb></lb>
the Church Wardens and Overseers of the said Parish</p>
<p n="422">Your Petitioner therefore conceiving himself greatly aggriev'd<lb></lb>
by the rate or assessment so made by the said Church Wardens<lb></lb>
and <rs type="occupation" id="LMSLPS15044_occ168">Overseer of the poor</rs>

of the said Parish for and towards<lb></lb>
the necessary reliefe of the poor of the said Parish Humbly<lb></lb>
prays that the said rate may be Quashed and that your<lb></lb>
petitioner may be relieved in the premisses in Such manner<lb></lb>
as to this Court shall seem just and fitting</p>
