Do present as followeth (Vizt) Forasmuch as <rs type="placeName" id="LMSLPS15009_geo34">Billinsgate</rs>

is one of the publique Marketts for supplying the<lb></lb>
Citty of London with Fresh Fish Oysters Salt and other Comodityes<lb></lb>
And that now and of late the Farmers of the Grewudgae of the<lb></lb>
said Dock, and the Owners on Occyeyers of Smarts Key adjoyning<lb></lb>
to the said Dock, for private gaines to themselves have postered, &<lb></lb>
do now fill and pesters up the said Dock with more Shipps of<lb></lb>
Burthen and letting the said Shipps ly in the said Dock and at the<lb></lb>
Said Key longer then by the Orders of the Lord Mayr & Court of<lb></lb>
Aldermen formerly for that Purpose. made and by the Custome<lb></lb>
they ought to do, so as the said Greate Vessells have and almost<lb></lb>
do wholly exclude the Oyster Cocks and other Fish boates and<lb></lb>
Small Craft wch come there to Markett, out of the said Dock<lb></lb>
& not onely prevent the said Oyster Cocks & Small Craft from<lb></lb>
comeing in there in time to sell their goods whilst fresh and<lb></lb>
good, but also oftentimes to the endangering and losse of Psons<lb></lb>
lives comeing to and goeing from the publique Landing Staires<lb></lb>
there. Therefore wee do present the said Farmers Owners<lb></lb>
and Occupyers of the said Dock and Key for their will practices<lb></lb>
and doeings aforesaid as being a very greate greivance and<lb></lb>
Injury to the publique.</p>

Powell and his wife do keep a very Lewd and bad house (wth has<lb></lb>

) and do entertaine therein<lb></lb>
and being together Men and women of Lewd & debauched lives<lb></lb>
and conversations and of very bad same, to the dishonour of<lb></lb>
God Allmighty, Scandall of this Citty, and disturbance of<lb></lb>
the Neighboured.</p>
<p n="52">lastly wee the said Jurors haveing now and formerly<lb></lb>
heard and seen (with grease and Compression) the inserable<lb></lb>
state and impions behaviour and condicon of Many of the<lb></lb>
