refused to receive as Beleiveing it to be worshiptantant<lb></lb>
fit to be taken in payement and therefore desired Mr<lb></lb>
Aynsworth to leave the said money sealed up till be <obscured></obscured>

<p n="42">Who saith He brought fifty pound this day in the Morneing Som<lb></lb>
Ainsworths Shop in Cornehill & asked to see some narrow<lb></lb>
Garlicks who did thew some to this Examinant and the passed<lb></lb>
the price and this Exam told Mr Ainsworth he would she him<lb></lb>
his mony & if he would take his mony he would have his Goods<lb></lb>
whereupon Mr Ainsworth Sent for One who looked on the mony<lb></lb>
& would have taken part of the mony but not all & thereupon<lb></lb>
this Exam offered to give the said Person five pound if he would<lb></lb>
have taken it altogether as it was And further saith be desired<lb></lb>
Mr Lovell to tell the Goldsmith that if he would take<obscured></obscured>
my<lb></lb>
as it punns hetpr Exam would take Guinnes for the same <obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
two shillings And assoone as this Exam came into the Gobbin the<lb></lb>
Shop he told this Exam he would have him before Justices of Peace<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
Whereupon this Exam answered he would go with him before any<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
of Peace And this Exam further saith he received about thirty<lb></lb>
seaven pound of the said mony A Rochester Faire about Foureteene<lb></lb>
daies since & that he did not receive above Forty Shillings in One<lb></lb>
payement & the residue in Smaller Sinner of his Shillings Seaven<obscured></obscured>
