are now out of town at the respective places of their<lb></lb>
abode or about the Country on their lawfull occasions<lb></lb>
as this Depont. doth beleive And this Depont further<lb></lb>
saith that he received advice by a letter by the post<lb></lb>
at Oundle aforesaid on Sunday last at night that an<lb></lb>
Act of Grace & free & generall pardon had passed in<lb></lb>
Parliament And this Depont. was<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
informed &<lb></lb>
did beleive that thereby all Crimes Offences &<lb></lb>
Misdeameanours for which this Depont. was indicted<lb></lb>
was pardoned And therefore this Depont. did not put<lb></lb>
himself to the trouble & charge to bring any Witnesses<lb></lb>
to town for his defence at his tryall Nor is he prepared<lb></lb>
to try the same Nor can he safely proceed to tryall<lb></lb>
in this matter without the Testimony of his said<lb></lb>
Witnesses as he is advised & verily beleives</p>
