<p n="406">This Informant saith that he being upon his Watch<lb></lb>
on Satorday night last, one Bonner a <rs type="occupation" id="LMSLPS15004_occ143">watchman</rs>

came & told him that there was Company revelling<lb></lb>
att the Shepheard Tavern in <rs type="placeName" id="LMSLPS15004_geo277">Cheapside</rs>

two A Clock on Sunday morning, thereupon this<lb></lb>
Informant tooke four Watch men of from their<lb></lb>
Hands with him & went to the said Taverne<lb></lb>
desired the Watchmen to go softly to the doore & <gap reason="illegible"></gap>

yt. this Informant might hear whether there<lb></lb>
was any such thing as revelling there, then<lb></lb>
this Informt. going in asked the drawers what<lb></lb>
Company there was in the house, & going to the<lb></lb>
boxes found three Psons together, And this Informt<lb></lb>
askt there what they were doing att that time<lb></lb>
A night, one of them answered what was that<lb></lb>
to him they were not to give him an acct: Thereupon<lb></lb>
one of the Watchmen sayd why do you speake<lb></lb>
so to the Constable, one of them answered they<lb></lb>
cared not A fact for him, whereupon this<lb></lb>
informant did ordr. his Watchmen to take that<lb></lb>

not go up for that there was a Pson of Quality<lb></lb>
above, this Informant said to his watchmen fellow<lb></lb>
mee up accordingly they did, being gon up one pair<lb></lb>
of staires this Informant heard Musick with<lb></lb>
that he went to the doore & bid his Watchmen<lb></lb>
follow him, the first year man Informant saye was<lb></lb>
A man playing upon A welch harp, this Informant<lb></lb>
did further see one Mr. Cooke wth. A Flask of Wine<lb></lb>
in one hand & A Glass in the other, he said to this<lb></lb>
Informant, Yor. servt. Mr. Constable, will you please to<lb></lb>
