This Informant saith he being a Watchman at the stand<lb></lb>
in Fryday Street end on Sunday Morning last being<lb></lb>
5th. of March instant about Two a Clock in the<lb></lb>
Morning the said Informant coming to releive his<lb></lb>

said Taverne had lost<lb></lb>
at play this Informt: then goeing into Sheppards Court<lb></lb>
hearing Musick this Informt: sent word to Mr: Wade ye.<lb></lb>
Constable and the Constable and this Informt: went into<lb></lb>
the House with him and coming into the House this<lb></lb>
Informt: saw Threemen the Constable asked them what<lb></lb>
Company there was in ye. House they told him only a prson:<lb></lb>
of quality and bid the Constable goe, up staires to<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

disturbe him if he durst this Informant goeing up<lb></lb>
Staires with the Constable saw the Musitioner playing<lb></lb>
upon the Harpe and Mr. Cooke with a flaske in one<lb></lb>
hand and a Glass in the other and Mr: Sheppard in bed<lb></lb>
in the said Roome where upon the Constable comitted the<lb></lb>
Musitionr: And Mr: Cooke and this Informt. goeing<lb></lb>
with them to the Compter and coming back to the<lb></lb>

doore told the Constable that Master had the Keys up<lb></lb>
Staires and he could not open it and the man askt<obscured></obscured>

Mr: Constable what business he had there and the<lb></lb>
Constable comanding in the Kings name to open the doore<lb></lb>
and after it was opened the Constable mett with another<lb></lb>
a busive person ordred him to be carried to ye. Compter<lb></lb>
which was done accordingly Then A drawer comeing<lb></lb>
downe Staires told the Constable that my Lord<lb></lb>
would Speake with him above the Constable Answered<lb></lb>
if he had any thing to say to him, hee might come downe<lb></lb>
if he pleased And then the Lord came downe and<lb></lb>
told the Constable he had butt Three servants with<lb></lb>
him and hee had comittee Two of them and comanded<lb></lb>
him to fetch them out or else he would lay him by the<lb></lb>
heales on Monday <gap reason="illegible"></gap>
the Constable answered his<lb></lb>
Authority did not extend soe farr, and further<lb></lb>
saith not</p>
