before me this 25th. day of November 1788.</p>
<p n="1988">Who being upon Oath saith that on Thursday morning<lb></lb>
last a Quantity of Lead was ripped cut and stolen from<lb></lb>
off a certain Building, used and occupied with the<lb></lb>
Dwelling House of his said Master at Cannon aforesaid<lb></lb>
That he hath viewed and measured the Lead now produced<lb></lb>
by the said <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45034_n1988-1">John Wright</rs>

the Road near Kilburn and observing him to have two large Bags<lb></lb>
with him he suspected him to have some Stolen property<lb></lb>
therein - That he stopped said Clare and asked him what<lb></lb>
he had got there, who replied old Pewter - That he then<lb></lb>
opened said Bags, in one of which he found the said<lb></lb>
Stolen Lead and a large Goose and in the other another<lb></lb>
large Goose when he immediately secured the paid Clare</p>
