Prisoner came behind the sd. Winstanley caught hold of the parcel and<lb></lb>
pulled it from of his head that the sd. Winstanley in endeavouring to <lb></lb>
recover the parcel received a Violent blow from the Prisoner which knocked<lb></lb>
him down that while he was down the Prisoner Kicked him in the <lb></lb>
Eye, that during the Scuffle the two Women who were taking with<lb></lb>
the Prisoner ran off with the Parcel And this Inst. further saith<lb></lb>
that on his endeavouring to help his fellow servant the sd. Winstanley<lb></lb>
the Prisoner caught him by the throat that this Infort. endeavoured<lb></lb>
to Ann away and the Prisoner following turn several Persons came<lb></lb>
to his Assistance and one <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45034_n1794-9">Joseph Smith</rs>

Inst. has been told and believes was found upon the prisoner agt whc<lb></lb>
was taken to the watch House, And this Inst. further saith that he never <lb></lb>
lost sight of the Prisoner from the beginning of the scuffle untill he<lb></lb>
was secured in the Watch House aforesaid.</p>
