the Morning as he was going Home from his Duty he saw<lb></lb>
two Men in the Lane Joining Summers place standing agt. a<lb></lb>
Bail & the Prisoner came up to them who upon seeing the<lb></lb>
sd. Davis began to walk off upon wch. the two Men said to the<lb></lb>
Prisoner never mind him he is only a white livered Bugger<lb></lb>
of a WatchmanUpon that Davis said to them good Morng.<lb></lb>
to you Gentleman & passed them they then walked off he<lb></lb>
fellowed them but having no Assistance the other two got<lb></lb>
clear awayThe Prisoner was likewise going & as he<lb></lb>
run along he threw sevl. Things into a Pond of Water<lb></lb>
particularly a Saw & a brass Cock he dropt upon the<lb></lb>
Ground upon the sd. Davis seizing him he turned<lb></lb>
round & said you bloody Bugger do you offer to take me<lb></lb>
then he knocked him down & took him</p>
