being sworn and examined the day and year<lb></lb>
aforesaid on his Oath saith that he this Informant<lb></lb>
was sent for to attend the Deceased about three oClock<del>on Wednesday night</del>

in the Morning of the<del>first</del>
thirty first<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
day of May<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
last that when deponent cannot<lb></lb>
the said deceased he found five wounds upon her head<lb></lb>
three of which wound had laid the scull bare, she<lb></lb>
had a wound on the back of her right Hand, was very<lb></lb>
much bruised on her left elbow and Hip, that she<lb></lb>
was perfectly sensible but much agitated, that she<lb></lb>
appeared to be about 75 years of Age; that the deceased<lb></lb>
appeared to get better of such Wounds until Monday the<lb></lb>
second day of this Instant, when she<del>became worse and<lb></lb>
in great danger</del>
became sleepy,<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
and remained<lb></lb>
so all the next Day, which gave Dept. Reason<lb></lb>
to suppose Matter had been formed on the Brain<lb></lb>
and therefore trepanned the Scull in two places</p>
