but a minute before passed her door who came back immediately, but what<lb></lb>

then in such a distressed Situation of mind that she did not know<lb></lb>
what was said or done otherwise then that he was taken into her back<lb></lb>
Room & put on the Bed there where he died, Further Saith that she believes<lb></lb>
the Gun so fired as aforesaid was fired from the house of Mr. Davies of <rs type="placeName" id="LMOBPS45031_geo631">New<lb></lb>
Gravel Lane</rs>

to Informants house when he took the head of the deceased between his Legs<lb></lb>
and held him up and sayed he hoped he had not taken the life of any<lb></lb>
person especially of a person who never hurt or harmed him. That the said<lb></lb>
Mr. Davies then desired Mr. Thomas to go for a Dorter and most Earnestly desired<lb></lb>
that nothing might be wanting and to spare no Cost,And the said<lb></lb>

down Stairs he heard the report of a Gun, and when he opened the Street door<lb></lb>
he looked over the way and perceived the abovementioned <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45031_n572-5">Robert Davies</rs>

him what he was going to do who replied he did not know what he was<lb></lb>
going to do immediately after which the said Mr. Davies pulled the Tregges<lb></lb>
twice but it not going off he threw the Gun down Twice as if in a passion<lb></lb>
and took up another Gun, and fired it off. when he pulled up the Gun<lb></lb>
which he had first Attempted to Fire (and did something to it but what<lb></lb>
this Informant cannot tell) and pointed the same to where he was standing<lb></lb>
it went off and<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
the Contents thereof was Lodged in the Body of<del>the</del>

Angus, and that he himself must have received the Contents of the piece had<lb></lb>
he not providentially with drawn himself a little on One side</p>
