<p n="1531">Who upon his Oath saith that yesterday Morning the<lb></lb>
twenty first Day of October instant about eight o'Clock<lb></lb>
he percived that a Quantity of Lead was stolen taken &<lb></lb>
carried away from the Plinths of two Pillars of a<lb></lb>
Gothic Temple on the pleasure Ground within the<lb></lb>
Paddock of her Royal Highness the Princess Amelia<lb></lb>
at <rs type="placeName" id="LMOBPS45030_geo1596">Gunnersbury</rs>

upon examining the Ground & Wall order the said<lb></lb>
Temple he saw that some person had got over the<lb></lb>
said Wall about six or seven Yards from the said<lb></lb>
Temple,<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
& that the Lead, after being taken<lb></lb>
away from the said Plinths of the said Pillars,<lb></lb>
had been thrown our there into a Lane Called<lb></lb>
Love Lane, that by the Fall of the Lead several<lb></lb>
Pieces of a white crustaceous matter, formed upon<lb></lb>
the Lead by paint & other Substances with which<lb></lb>
the Lead had been, at different Times, covered, was<lb></lb>
broken off it & lay scatter'd upon the Grownd, that<lb></lb>
he traced different Pieces of the said while matter<lb></lb>
all along a footway to the Town of <rs type="placeName" id="LMOBPS45030_geo1598">Acton</rs>
