<p n="1425">Who Saith That about the Hour of Six in the<lb></lb>
Morning of this Present Day he was going to Work and that a<lb></lb>
Man Whose Name appears to be <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45030_n1425-1">William Simpson</rs>

Passed by him<lb></lb>
having a Bag upon his Shoulder, the Said Simpson observing<lb></lb>
this Deponent to look at him crossed the Way Deponent Suspecting<lb></lb>
he had something in the Bag which he had not lawfully Come<lb></lb>
by Spoke to his Labourer Walking along with him, and told him that<lb></lb>
he thought he had something in that Bag that he should not have<lb></lb>
Labourer replied it was a Pig For two had heard it Squeak<lb></lb>

Followed him up to the High cross and Stopping<lb></lb>
him told him his Suspicions and Desired to See What was in the<lb></lb>
Bag the Said Simpson told him that it was a Pig which he was<lb></lb>
going to carry to one Mr Beale Who kept a Lodging House by the<lb></lb>
