and Deponent rode on the Coach Box.When they<lb></lb>
came to the Hospital Deponent assisted in taking<lb></lb>
deceased into the House and up to Bed and was<lb></lb>
present during the time the Surgeon examined the<lb></lb>
deceaseds Body whereon was a wound on the left<lb></lb>
side the Belly just above the Navel as if made by<lb></lb>
a pistol Bullet and after proper directions had been given<lb></lb>
Deponent went awaySaith that at the time<lb></lb>
the deceased first came upto him he said he had<lb></lb>
been Shot by two Men but did not describe who<lb></lb>
they were nor what Instrument he had been shot<lb></lb>
withSaith that on Thursday about two<lb></lb>
oClock he went to see the deceased who was in<lb></lb>
great pain and dying but sensible but did not<lb></lb>
say any thing further to Deponent about the Mischief<lb></lb>
shortly afterwards Deponent went down Stair sand<lb></lb>
in a few Minutes was told he was dead.Saith<lb></lb>
that just before the deceased came up<del>to</del>
Deponent on<lb></lb>
Wednesday he heard the Report of a pistol or<lb></lb>
a Gun shot off and in two Minutes deceased<lb></lb>
came upbut Deponent did not see any<lb></lb>
person behind deceased as the Ban his or fences<lb></lb>
of the Field prevented.</p>
