Deced was Captain and commanded a<lb></lb>
Company, Says that the Deced, finding that<lb></lb>
Colonel Gordon was absent, sent three<lb></lb>
different Officers to find Colonel Gordon for<lb></lb>
Orders that they all returned and reported<lb></lb>
to the Deced that they could not find him<lb></lb>
Says that Colonel Stuart took the Command<lb></lb>
of the Battalion took Possession of the Rebels<lb></lb>
Ground and foreced them away, Says that<lb></lb>
in about less Minutes afterwards Colonel<lb></lb>
Gorden came us and the Deced event<lb></lb>
to him, and said some thing which Dept.<lb></lb>
could not hear, upon which Colonel Gordon<lb></lb>
walked away, Says that several times<lb></lb>
afterwards on the same day he heard Deced tell Colonel Gordon<lb></lb>
that he had not done his Duty as an Officer<lb></lb>
and a Soldier before the Enemy, Says that<lb></lb>
the same day on their Return home Colonel<lb></lb>
Gordon was Warrnded in his High and did not<lb></lb>
