in the Parish of Saint<lb></lb>
Luke in the said County. That on Wednesday the 18th. day of<lb></lb>
April instant this Informant was employed in bringing a <lb></lb>
Quantity of Broad Cloth from Messrs. Townsends and Brunsdon<lb></lb>
in <rs type="placeName" id="LMOBPS45024_geo235">Basinghall Street</rs>

to his said Master's to be cleaned and<lb></lb>
pressed. That near Windmill Hill a Piece of Bread Cloth<lb></lb>
about twenty<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
eight Yards in length was feloniously stolen<lb></lb>
out of the said Cart by some Person or Persons coming behind<lb></lb>
the Cart and taking it out at the Tael Board. That this<lb></lb>
Informant verily believes and suspects that <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45024_n364-1">Joseph<lb></lb>
Ephraims</rs>

said Cloth by Reason that on this Informants finding the<lb></lb>
said Coth had been stolen he was informed that the Persons<lb></lb>
who had stolen it were going with it down Tabernacle Walt.<lb></lb>
and pursuing them this Informant saw the said Joseph<lb></lb>
Ephraims as he verily believes among along with the<lb></lb>
said Cloth under his Arm.</p>
