<p n="1291">Who being upon Oath saith that he together with<lb></lb>
John Rand Robert Sheppard and William Clayton<lb></lb>
about Eight o'Clock on Monday Night the 9th. of<lb></lb>

and stayed there some<lb></lb>
time till between a Nine & ten o'Clock when they all<lb></lb>
went to Park Lane Grosvenor Square where they<lb></lb>
stopped a Hackney Coach in who<obscured></obscured>
ere two Men<lb></lb>
this Informant and Robert Sheppard went up<lb></lb>
to each of the Coach Door with each a pistol which<lb></lb>
were provided by SheppardSheppard Demanded<lb></lb>
their Money. & Watches and asked them if they had not<lb></lb>
Pocket Books-the persons in the Coach say'd they had<lb></lb>
no pocket Books or Watches. this Informant & Sheppa<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
took hem them twenty two Shillings & Six Pence in<lb></lb>
Silver & a Silver Piece of Coin which this Informant<lb></lb>
believes to be a Penny. John Rand was behind the<lb></lb>
Coach and William Clayton at some distance in the<lb></lb>
foot path way-John Rand. sayd Damn them they are<lb></lb>
my Masters Valet Do Chambs after they had Committed the<lb></lb>
said Robbery they all went to the Hertferd Anns in<lb></lb>
little Grosvener Street & Drank a Glass of Biendy each<lb></lb>
and shared the Money which they had taken in the<lb></lb>
Robbery in the Tap Room in the presence of the<lb></lb>
Landlady of the House from thence they went back<lb></lb>
again to Pearsons in Gees Court Oxford Street Stayed there<lb></lb>
a little time then this Informant together with Robert<lb></lb>
Sheppend and William Clayton<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

House and some Stables behind Saint George's Church</p>
