<p n="718">said Sessions House and these Deponents say that they<lb></lb>
attended there till about five o' Clock in the Evening (but the<lb></lb>
said prosecutor was not there) when these Deponents went to a<lb></lb>
publick House to get a little refreshment and this Deponent<lb></lb>

without the prosecutor and this Deponent Edward Carty believing the<lb></lb>
same they both went Home and these Deponents say they have<lb></lb>
been informed that the said prisoner was discharged about Eight<lb></lb>
o' Clock on the said Friday Evening and that the prosecutor and<lb></lb>
these Deponents Recognizance was Ordered to be Estreated and these<lb></lb>
Deponents say that the said prosecutor did not attend during the<lb></lb>
said Sessions accept the first Day when the Indictment was<lb></lb>
preferred and that the said prosecutor had all the things that were<lb></lb>
stolen from him in his own Custody so that these Deponents have<lb></lb>
been informed and humbly apprehend their Evidence could not have<lb></lb>
had any effect against the said prisoners as they were only the<lb></lb>
Watchman who apprehended them and these Deponents say that they<lb></lb>
did not Neglect to attend and give their Evidence against the said<lb></lb>
prisoners through any favour or Affection or for any Reward or the<lb></lb>
hope or promise thereof but that it was entirely occasioned by the<lb></lb>
means aforesaid and through no other reason or Motive whatsoever<lb></lb>
and these Deponents further say that they both are very poor and<lb></lb>
have wives and large Families whom they maintain by their honed<lb></lb>
Labour and industry therefore they humbly pray this Honourable<lb></lb>
Court will be pleased to Order their said Recognizance the discharged.</p>
