taken before Us two of his Majestys Justices of<lb></lb>
the Peace for the said County City & Liberty<lb></lb>
Who being Jointly upon Oath<del>And first this Informt Lyon</del>

Alexander Saith that sometime in July last on Johy Jones aforesaid<lb></lb>
now Prevent came<lb></lb>
to him on a Sunday Morning at his Lodgings<lb></lb>
in Wonnwood Street & being Drest in Monaning<lb></lb>
this Informt. asked him who he was in Monaning<lb></lb>
for & he Replied that of an Aunt of his was Dead at<lb></lb>
Oxford & had left him & his Brother between three & four<lb></lb>
thousand Pounds & say'd that it would put him & his<lb></lb>
Brother into a Way of Business that they never should<lb></lb>
do any thing in that Way any more meaning as this<lb></lb>
Informant believes that they should never go a<lb></lb>
Thieving any more And this Informt. asked the sd. Jones<lb></lb>
to Lend him five Guineas that he might put himself<lb></lb>
into a Way of Business & he told him that he woud ask his<lb></lb>
Brother, but gave him a Guinea to Buy his Children some<lb></lb>
Cloaths and this Informt. furr. saith that he & Jones went<lb></lb>
together into <rs type="placeName" id="LMOBPS45015_geo1128">Bishopgate Street</rs>

Wounwood Street he there saw Jone's Brother whose Name he<lb></lb>
Informed him was Brent but desired that this Informt. would<lb></lb>
not take any Notice of him which he did not, And saith<lb></lb>
that Jones spoke two or three words to his Brother & then<lb></lb>
Returned to this Informt. And saith that on the Sunday<lb></lb>
followg. Jones came again to his Lodgeings & gave him a<lb></lb>
Moidere from his Brother & say'd that he would not lend<lb></lb>
him any five GuineasAnd saith that he desired this<lb></lb>
Informt. to call upon him in fews day's after for he had<lb></lb>
some thing very material to say to him and about. 3<lb></lb>
Days after he Called upon Jones: at his House in East<lb></lb>
Street & there he saw Chas. the Dyer; Jone's & this Informt.</p>
