<p n="711">Who being upon Oath says that a Person now present who<lb></lb>
calls himself <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45010_n711-1">Thomas Smith</rs>

Hired of him a little black Horse with a Switch Tail and Small<lb></lb>
Blaze in his face that he went out at seven in the Morning<lb></lb>
and brought him home at 8 in the Evening, says that he applied<lb></lb>
to these Informt. for the same Horse on Sunday last, but having<lb></lb>
last a Shoe, said Smith hired a Sorrell Horse of Mr. Gittings<lb></lb>
in the same Yard which he returned about Dusk the same<lb></lb>
Evening, says sd. Smith then found fault with the Paces of<lb></lb>
Githings's Sorrell Horse and a greed with their Informant<lb></lb>
for his little black Horse to be ready for him at three o'Clock<lb></lb>
the next Morning to go to Hertford, says said Smith<lb></lb>
accordingly the next Morning about half past two<lb></lb>
knock'd this Informant up and Mounted at three, says sd.<lb></lb>
Smith sent his Horse home on Tuesday Morning with a Note<lb></lb>
promising to call and pay for him in the Afternoon which he<lb></lb>
accordingly did, and also paid him four Shillings for the use<lb></lb>
