I was in Liquor or else I had not fallen in with them.</p>
<p n="77">God knows my Heart, I had no Design of any such Thing. I own, I was in the House, but as to striking or putting Mr. Wood in Fear of his Life, I never did, for which I appeal to a just and true God, who knows the Secrets of all Hearts. I forgive all my Enemies, as I hope to be forgiven. This to the best of my Remembrance is the Truth, and nothing but the Truth.</p>
