<p n="2422">Whereas <rs type="persName" id="NAHOCR70007_n2422-1">Thomas Parnell</rs>

was in February last Convicted at the <rs type="placeName" id="NAHOCR70007_geo2201">Old Bailey</rs>
<interp inst="NAHOCR70007_geo2201" type="placeName" value="Old Bailey"></interp>
<interp inst="NAHOCR70007_geo2201" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
for feloniously being at large in this Kingdom before<lb></lb>
the Expiration of the term for which he was ordered to be Transported and received Sentence of Death for the Same but afterwards received our pardon<lb></lb>
On Condition of being Transported Seven Years for the Same And Whereas Some favorable Circumstances have been humbly represented unto us<lb></lb>
in his behalf inducing us further to Extend our grace and Mercy unto him and to Grant him our pardon for his said Crime on Condition<lb></lb>
of his Enlisting and continuing to Serve us as a Soldier until duly discharged therefrom and that he find Security for his good Behaviour for<lb></lb>
a term equal to the remainder of his Sentence unexpired Our will and pleasure therefore is that upon his Enlisting to Serve us as a <rs type="occupation" id="NAHOCR70007_occ1003">soldier</rs>

in our Army as aforesaid and on his giving the Security as aforesaid to the satisfaction of the Recorder of our <rs type="placeName" id="NAHOCR70007_geo2202">City of London</rs>

he be forthwith<lb></lb>
delivered over to such person or persons as shall be duly authorized to receive him for the purpose above mentioned and that he be inserted<lb></lb>
for his said Crime on the said Condition in our first and next General pardon that shall come out for the poor Convicts in Newgate<lb></lb>
and for so doing this shall be your Warrant Given at our Court at <rs type="placeName" id="NAHOCR70007_geo2203">Saint James's</rs>
