FOR THE<lb></lb>
OUT-PENSIONERS OF CHELSEA HOSPITAL.</p>
<p n="184">All Out-Pensioners (as well Letterman as others) belonging to the said Hospital,<lb></lb>
who live at a greater Distance than Twenty-five Miles from London, and those in<lb></lb>
Scotland and Ireland, are hereby required and commanded, that immediately after<lb></lb>
the 25th of December, 1764, and after every succeeding <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65238_geo181">25th of June</rs>

ber, till further Orders, they forthwith apply themselves to one of His Majesty's<lb></lb>

in the Neighbourhood where they reside; and make the fol-<lb></lb>
lowing Affidavit, which the said Magistrate for the County, City, Borough, or <lb></lb>
Riding, before whom the Pensioner appears, will sign and date, viz.</p>

and that he is no otherwise provided for by the Government <lb></lb>

<p n="187">To the End that the Commissioners for the Affairs of the said Hospital may be<lb></lb>
satisfied, that they are the same Persons who have passed their Examinations; the<lb></lb>
Pensioners are hereby directed, that such of them as have served in, and been<lb></lb>
discharged from any of the Regiments, or Independent Companies of Invalids, <lb></lb>
are not to mention in their Affidavits, such Regiment or Company of Invalids in<lb></lb>
which they served, but the Regiment, Troop, or Corps of the Army from which <lb></lb>
they were first discharged, and recommended and received to <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65238_geo183">Chelsea Hospital</rs>

<p n="188">The Affidavit drawn according to the above Form, sworn before, dated and<lb></lb>
attested by a Magistrate, is to be put up in a Cover, and sent by the General Post,<lb></lb>
(directed thus) "To the Right Honourable the Pay Master General of His<lb></lb>
"Majsety's Land Forces, at <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65238_geo184">the Horse Guards</rs>
<interp inst="WACWIC65238_geo184" type="placeName" value="the Horse Guards"></interp>
<interp inst="WACWIC65238_geo184" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
, London, "at the Terms above-<lb></lb>
mentioned; and that Counterparts or Duplicates of the said Affidavit be reserved <lb></lb>
by the Out-Pensioners respectively, to be exhibited to such Persons as shall be<lb></lb>
directed to pay them; that they may be satisfied that all such as may claim Out-<lb></lb>
Pensioners, are the real Persons intitled to receive the same.</p>
<p n="189">Lastly, It is notified, that none will be entered upon the Pay-Lists of the said<lb></lb>
Hospital, or be thought intitled to receive any Benefit therefrom, who shall not<lb></lb>
act agreeable to these Orders and Directions.</p>
<p n="190">N. B. The <rs type="occupation" id="WACWIC65238_occ101">Pensioner</rs>

is desired to indorse the Affidavit with the Regiment,<lb></lb>
