Bed in the Gard Room over which is the Barracks<lb></lb>
where several Privates in the said Regiment At<lb></lb>
½ part 2 o'Clock he heard the Door of the<lb></lb>

set up immediately that he heard a horse this<lb></lb>
Dept immediately rose & went out of the guard<lb></lb>
room & saw lying at the Door the Decedthis<lb></lb>
Dept. asked immediately what brot. him there, the<lb></lb>
deced (calling this Dept. by his Name) said of he did<lb></lb>
not come to his Assistance immediately he<lb></lb>
Should thethis<del>deced</del>
Dept immediately helped<lb></lb>
him up & he walked with him into the Guard<lb></lb>
Room & he sat down upon the Bed This Dept<lb></lb>
got some Water & washed the Deced but he bled must<lb></lb>
at the housein about ¼ of an hour he laid down upon the<lb></lb>
Bed & this Dept & his Comrade rendered him all the<lb></lb>
Assistance in their Power Dr Henry was sat fa<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
& came<lb></lb>
soon but he said, the Man even so badly wounded & Injured<lb></lb>
that no relief, could be administered to him. Dr Henry said<lb></lb>
that he had no<obscured></obscured>
a Blood Vessel. he died between 5 & 6<lb></lb>
