on his Oath saith he Since about the Middle of December as his Freind has attended the Deceased<del>since Christmas on account</del>

Deceased was frequently complaining of pains in his Head<lb></lb>
and particularly of a Pain on his side, which he described<lb></lb>
as being like a burning and that the place might be<lb></lb>
Covered with half a Crown, and that the Pain some times<lb></lb>
shot about other Parts of his Body, and he also complained,<lb></lb>
of not sleepingbut Deponent has frequently told the<lb></lb>
Deceased that he was since he must have slept, and the<lb></lb>
Deponent is sure that he must have often slept as<lb></lb>
he did not hear<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
his teeth grinding which was very common<lb></lb>
to him so to do when awake on Friday the 25th. of<lb></lb>
March, the deceased was in good Spirits and entertained<lb></lb>
some Company and played as Cards, but the next day<lb></lb>
Saturday he was very low Spirited, and Deponent is<lb></lb>
certain the Deceased Disorder was more on his Mind<lb></lb>
then his Body, and he heard Dr. Reynolds say the<lb></lb>
Same, and that he was since if the Deceased went to<lb></lb>

the Necessary as to had done three or four Nights before<lb></lb>
but which had not been usual, and Deponent helped<lb></lb>
the Deceased on with this great Coat, after he returned<obscured></obscured>

Said he Might as well put his Silk Hand Kerchief<lb></lb>
round his Neck, as it was cold and he was to grow<lb></lb>
across the Court to the Necessary<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
Deceased did<lb></lb>
not returnin about a quarter of an Hour the Deponent<lb></lb>
called his Laundress, and enquired about him, but he<lb></lb>
could get no information, no Body had seen him; and they<lb></lb>
Porters at the Gate said he had not gone outAdvertizer<lb></lb>
and Hand Bills were published and dispensed des<obscured></obscured>

his Person & Dress, but he received he information till<lb></lb>
Tuesday, when he heard that a Hat had been found on<lb></lb>
