That on opening<lb></lb>
the Door he found the Deced lying down at<lb></lb>
the bottom of the Stone Steps, upon her left side<lb></lb>
with his Head towards Mr. Wagnears Place Says that a soldier came who felt the Deced<lb></lb>
Hand and said it was Cold, and she appeared<lb></lb>
to Dept. to be dead,<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
but he saw no Blood<lb></lb>
nor any hurt upon the Deced, Says that<lb></lb>
the outer Door opening into Duke Street<lb></lb>
was not Locked, that NIght, and had not<lb></lb>
been Locked since last Monday, the Lock<lb></lb>
being out of order, had Dept, believes<lb></lb>
that the Deced Accidentally fell down the<lb></lb>
Stone Steps, and reced the hurt which caused<lb></lb>
her death.</p>
