slept in the Stable, Says that on Monday<lb></lb>
Evening last (Novr. 4th.) about Seven o'Clock Dept.<lb></lb>
saw the Deced at he Sign of the Red Lyon in <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65216_geo1553">Clarges<lb></lb>
Street</rs>

she Deced would have Dept. drink part of a Pot of<lb></lb>
Beer & smoke a Pipe which Dept. described and<lb></lb>
went to Bed, the Deced then appeared to have<lb></lb>
been brinking but was not fuddled, Says that<lb></lb>
the Deced did not come to Bed to Dept. that Night<lb></lb>
That Dept. got up between three & four o'Clock the<lb></lb>
next Morning, and after cleaning out his<lb></lb>
Stable he called out Red, meaning the Deced<lb></lb>
and soon after heared some body Groan in the<lb></lb>
Stable of which the Deced had the care of upon<lb></lb>
which Dept. went there and in one of the Stable<lb></lb>
there he found the Deced lying on his<obscured></obscured>
with some Str<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
upon him which Dept. took of and moved the<lb></lb>
Deced out of the reach of the Horse, in the<lb></lb>
Stall which Horse appeared to be much<lb></lb>
frightened, Says that the Deced's face and<lb></lb>
Head were very Bloody and some Straw in<lb></lb>
his Month Says that he did not observe any<lb></lb>
Wounds</p>
