<p n="731">Deced's Cloaths and on the Floor, Says that he<lb></lb>
then felt the Deced who was quite Cold and<lb></lb>
appeared to have been dead some hours, and<lb></lb>
Dept. does believe that the Deced gave herself the<lb></lb>
wound in her Throat which he believes to<lb></lb>
have been the cause of her death Says that he<lb></lb>
found the Doors all fastened, and also the Windows,<lb></lb>
with the Bells in them, excepting a Window<lb></lb>
in the Back room on the Ground Floor where<lb></lb>
he found the Sash down but the Shutters not<lb></lb>
fastened, Says that he carefully examined the<lb></lb>
Yard there and saw no signs or appearance of<lb></lb>
any Person having gone out that way, Says that<lb></lb>
he this day saw a large Carving Knife bloody his Property<lb></lb>
taken from under the Deced on the Floor when<lb></lb>
she was moved before the Coroner and Jury, with<lb></lb>
which he believes the Deced gave herself the wound<lb></lb>
Says that he heard no Noise or Disturbance in his<lb></lb>
House on Tuesday Night after he went to Bed nor<lb></lb>
did he hear his Dog Bark which lay in the House<lb></lb>
that Night Says that from the Deced's Conversation<lb></lb>
Dept. has reason to believe that she was at times<lb></lb>
Disordered in her Senses. Says that no Person<lb></lb>
lay in Dept. House on Tuesday Night, but Mrs. Meller<lb></lb>

Baker next Door to Mr Cameron on this Oath saith, That<lb></lb>
yesterday Morning about a Quarter before nine o' Clock<lb></lb>
Mr. Cameron came into Depts. Shop and asked if Dept.<lb></lb>
had heard a Noise in his (Mr. Cameron's) House the last Night,<lb></lb>
that somebody had Murdered his Maid or that she had<lb></lb>
Murdered herself, and desired Dept. to go with him down<lb></lb>
Stairs, Says that he went with Mr. Cameron and in<lb></lb>
Mr. Cameron's Hitchin saw the Deced lying on the<lb></lb>
Floor with a Wound in her Throat which then Bled<lb></lb>
and much Blood upon the Deced's Cloaths and on<lb></lb>
the Floor, Says that he did not touch the Deced but<lb></lb>
believes that she was dead. And Dept. says that he<lb></lb>
heard no Noise in Mr. Cameron's House on Tuesday's<lb></lb>
Night last.</p>
