James Wilmot< no role > House Surgeon at St. George's Hospital
in the Parish of St. George Hanr . Surgeon on his Oath saith
That on Friday Morning last (March 4th.) David
Miller
< no role > the Deced was brought to said Hospital, with a
Wound in his Throat about two Inches and an half
in length, and a Stab in his Belly, Says that the
Wound was Sewed up, and all proper care taken
of the Deced in the Hospital, but Deced died there
on Monday last [..] and Dept. believes that
the Deced's death was in Consequence of the Wound
and Stab abovementioned. Says that on the
Day the Deced was brought to said Hospital when
Deced was sensible, Dept asked Deced haw he came
by his hurt, to which Deced answered That the went
the day before to see a friend at Carshalton and or
his return home at the End of Hogmoor Lane he
was robbed of a Shilling by two Men who knocked
him down and [..] Cut his Throat, and stabled
him in his Belly.

saith, That the Deced about three weeks ago [..]
[..] came home about five o' Clock in the Morning
and told Dept. that he had been Robbed at Knightsbridge
of Four Pounds fifteen shillings, and his Silver
Buckles by two Men and a Woman who had cut
him in two places in the Throat, says that she saw
the Wounds which were but Right, Says that last
Monday was fortnight about Twelve o' Clock at Night
the Deced came home with a Fresh Cut in his Throat
bet Deced refused to inform this Dept. how he
received it or from whom, Says the She thought
the Deced at times Disordered in his Mind and did not
cheese to leave him above, That on Thursday last when
Dept. was gove to Kensington , Deced went out and
did not return that Night, Says that she was

informed on Friday Afternoon that the Deced had
been hurt and carried to St George's Hospital , where
She saw him on Saturday Morning, and asked
him how he reced the hurt, to which he made
no Answer, Says that the Deced has lately
drank more than he used to do, and that he has
been at times Disordered in him Mind.
