Westmr. about four o'Clock<lb></lb>
in the Afternoon, That Mr. Cox was drinking with some <lb></lb>
Company in the Taproom, Says that Thomas Ring the<lb></lb>
Deced passed by the Window on the outside and Cox being then walking<lb></lb>
in the Taproom and seeing the Deced flourished his Hands<lb></lb>
towards the Window seemingly for Diversion, and upon<lb></lb>
the Deced's coming into the Taproom<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
flourished his hours<lb></lb>
again towards him in a friendly manner as Dept. thought<lb></lb>
Says that the Deced was very much in Liquor and asked<lb></lb>
Cox if he was in earnest, and Cox answered that he was<lb></lb>
in correct, and both of them Ripped their Cloaths off<lb></lb>
part of their Arms, and on again, and Cox took the Deced<lb></lb>
as Dept. thought in a friendly manner, Says that he<lb></lb>
let the Deced loose and Deced immediately with his<lb></lb>
Hand struck Mr Cox<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
upon his Temple with great force<lb></lb>
which brought Blood from <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65213_geo676">Cox's Temple</rs>

. Says that they<lb></lb>
were then going to fight on the House but Mrs. Mallard<lb></lb>
turned them out and they fought in the Street, Cox <lb></lb>
being in Liquor but not so much as the Deced, Says that<lb></lb>
the Deced reced his falls and that Cox fell upon him both times<lb></lb>
Says, that the Deced afterwards made a blow at Cox and<lb></lb>
missing him Deced fell down across the Kennel, Says that<lb></lb>
the Deced got up did not attempt to fight any More<lb></lb>
but went back into the Publisk House sat there about<lb></lb>
six minutes, and putting his Hand upon his Body and<lb></lb>
said</p>
