good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly<lb></lb>
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the<lb></lb>
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Thomas Reeks came to<lb></lb>
h is Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said Thomas Reeks, not being of sound<lb></lb>
Mind Memory and Understanding but lunatick and distracted, on the<lb></lb>
First day of May in the Year aforesaid, at the Parish and in the Liberty<lb></lb>
and County aforesaid, a certain Pistol charged with Gunpowder and a<lb></lb>
leaden Bullet, which he the said Thomas Reeks then and there had and held<lb></lb>
in his Right Hand, to and against to rightside of the Head of him the said<lb></lb>
Thomas Reeks, did then and there shoot off and discharge, by Means whereof he<lb></lb>
the said Thomas Reeks did then and there give unto himself with the leaden<lb></lb>
Bullet aforesaid, so discharged and shot out of the Pistol aforesaid by the force<lb></lb>
of the Gunspowder aforesaid <obscured></obscured>
upon the Right side of the Head of him<lb></lb>
the said Thomas Reeks, one man Fractures, of which said mortal Fracture<lb></lb>
he the said Thomas Reeks then and there instantly died. And so the Jurors<lb></lb>
aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say, that the said Thomas Reeks, not<lb></lb>
being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding, but lunatic and distracted,<lb></lb>
in Manner and by the Means aforesaid did kill himself. In Witness<lb></lb>
whereof as well the said Coroner as the said Thomas Lewling Foreman of<lb></lb>
the said Jurors, on the behalf himself and the rest of his Fellows, in their<lb></lb>
presence have to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seals the Day<lb></lb>
