Says that they returned in the Evening and a little<lb></lb>
after Seven o'Clock Mr. Quiet brought the Boat to<lb></lb>

the Cause way, within about four foot of it, and<lb></lb>
about twenty foot from the Stairs, they found the<lb></lb>
Deced lying upon his face in the Mud, being rather<lb></lb>
upon his Rivers, and the Clothes upon his Back above<lb></lb>
Water and scarcely Wet, Says that he lifted the Deced<lb></lb>
Head out of the Mud, and that the Deced was soon<lb></lb>
after carried upto his own House, That he fetched<lb></lb>
Mr. Norton the Surgeon who opened a vein in the <lb></lb>
Deced's Arm. but he did not Bleed, and Mr. Norton<lb></lb>
then said that he was dead, but Dept. believes that<lb></lb>
he had not been lone in the Water, The Tide being<lb></lb>
then Ebbing. Says that the Deced was very weak<lb></lb>
and had lost the use of his left Arm. and believes that<lb></lb>
if the Deced fell down in the Maid, where Dept. found<lb></lb>
him that he was unable to get up wishout Assistance<lb></lb>
Says that the Deced has been for some time easy in his<lb></lb>
Mind. and Dept. believes that he Accidentally fell into the<lb></lb>
Mud in the <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65212_geo2444">River Thames</rs>
