on his Oath saith that on Monday morning<lb></lb>
last July 6th <obscured></obscured>
was informed that James Macquarter<lb></lb>
the Deced was insensible at his Lodging in New Tothill<lb></lb>
Street Westmr and was thought to bodying Says that<lb></lb>
he went to the Deced and found him in Bed insensible<lb></lb>
and ordered him to be brought to the <obscured></obscured>
Hospital which<lb></lb>
was done, Says that the Deced's upper Lip was swelled<lb></lb>
and Lod<obscured></obscured>
and some Congealed Blood covering the<lb></lb>
<obscured></obscured>
some Blood in the right Nostril, and<lb></lb>
that the Deced appeared to have no other Marks of<lb></lb>
violence upon him the Deced, and this Dept. says that the<lb></lb>
Deced has been time sallivated in the Regimental Hospital<lb></lb>
for the V<obscured></obscured>
Disease (he being a Fifer in said Regimt.<lb></lb>
That after the second Sallivation the Deced was very<lb></lb>
much reduced, had an Inflammation upon his Lungs<lb></lb>
and a violent Cough whereby the Deced ruptureed<lb></lb>
some of the Vessels and frequently afterwards bled<lb></lb>
at the Nose, That he has since been at the Hospital<lb></lb>
for the Complaints and was in a bad state of Health<lb></lb>
and Says that the Deced's death could not be caused<lb></lb>
by the Hurt abovementioned upon his Lip, but<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
<lb></lb>
is of opinion that it was owing to his ill Habit<lb></lb>
of Body.</p>
