the Tide, Mr. Dunn and this Dept. being then together neat the<lb></lb>
shore, Says that he did not see the Deced afterwards alive<lb></lb>
it being then between Nine and ten o'Clock in the Evening<lb></lb>
says that they got a Candle & Lanthorn went to look for him<lb></lb>
and made all the Enquiry they were able but could get no<lb></lb>
Account of the Deced, says that there was no other person<lb></lb>
in the water with the Deced, and Dept. believes that the</p>

saw in the Thames the Head of a Man, almost above water,<lb></lb>
That he took held of the Deced's Hair and pulled him to<lb></lb>
the Shore That the Deced was drove downwards<del>upwards</del>
with the<lb></lb>
Tide and appeared to be almost upright, That the Deced<lb></lb>
was dead and appeared not to have been very long in<lb></lb>
the Water and that he saw no Marks of violence upon<lb></lb>
the Deced.</p>
