the Deced has lodged with this Dept. the greatest<lb></lb>
part of two Years last past That they both played at<lb></lb>
Skittles Yesterday at the lying of the Roe Buck near Dept. House<lb></lb>
until about two o'Clock in the Afternoon when they<lb></lb>
went home to Dinner, and afterwards both of them<lb></lb>
went to Westmr. called at the Sign of the Castle in Peter<lb></lb>
Street where they drank two Pints of Beer, and then<lb></lb>
walked on the Chelsea Bridge, where the Deced began<lb></lb>
to undress himself and immediately went into the<lb></lb>
River there, and Swam about for two Minutes,<lb></lb>
very well, and then Turned upon his Back, says<lb></lb>
that he this Dept. then determined to go into the<lb></lb>
water and was undressing himself when an Boy who<lb></lb>
Stood by Dept. said the Man was Drowned, upon which<lb></lb>
Dept. looked, but did not see the Deced, he being Sunk<lb></lb>
to the Bottom, Says that Several People come there<lb></lb>
soon after, and one of them underessed himself and<lb></lb>
went into the River and brought the Deced to the<lb></lb>
Shore Drowned, Says that the Deced was rubbed with<lb></lb>
Salt, and other Means used to recover him without<lb></lb>
effect, the Deced being dead, Says that there was no<lb></lb>
person in the Water with the Deced when her Sunk<lb></lb>
and believes that he was Accidentally Drowned, and<lb></lb>
says that the Deced was at that time pertty much in<lb></lb>
Liquor.</p>
