on his Oath saith That on Wednesday Evening last (May 6.) about<lb></lb>
Seven o'Clock a Gentleman & Servant came to Dept. who was in<lb></lb>
his Master's Garden) and acquainted him of a Man being in the<lb></lb>
Serpentine River in <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65212_geo711">Hyde Park</rs>

there, Says that there being no Sculls in the Boat, Dept. went in<lb></lb>
the Gentlyman's Servant and saw the Deced in the River near<lb></lb>
the Water House, not above two or three Yards from the Shore,<lb></lb>
Says that he went into the River and got hold of Deced's Coat<lb></lb>
and pulled him to the Deced appeared to be but not cold and Dept.<lb></lb>
observed no Marks of violence upon him.</p>
