Partnership with Mr. Carlisle, on his Oath saith, that<lb></lb>
on Friday the third day of this Instant May this Dept<lb></lb>
was fetched to Mr. Shafto the Deced who camplained<lb></lb>
of Confusion and Giddiness in his Head ,Says that<lb></lb>
the Deced was Feverish, Says that on Saturday Night<lb></lb>
he beled the Deced, and took from him a good Quantity<lb></lb>
of Blood, that he was sent for the next Morning and<lb></lb>
found that the Deced's Arm had bled a geal deal more in<lb></lb>
Bed, which Deced said he did not know of but that he<lb></lb>
had been very restless the former part of the Night, that<lb></lb>
the Deced complained of the Giddiness and confusion<lb></lb>
in his Head and said that he did not know what he was doing<lb></lb>
at times, and this he repeated several times to<lb></lb>
Dept, and said that he<del>thought</del>
had been as positive<lb></lb>
that he had soon two of his Servants out of the<lb></lb>
Countrey in this House the day before, as that he then<lb></lb>
saw him, but was then satisfied that they were not<lb></lb>
there, Says that he attended the Deced everyday<lb></lb>
since and Yesterday Evening Deced complained that<lb></lb>
he had had <obscured></obscured>

Yesterday through his Head which<lb></lb>
almost distracted him, Says that by Dr. Thomas's<lb></lb>
Direction Dept. put a Plaister to the Sole of each of<lb></lb>
Deced's Feet about Twelve o' Clock last Night, and went<lb></lb>
home in about half an hour after leaving the Deced<lb></lb>
undressed and going to Bed as Dept. thought, Says that<lb></lb>
a little after Six o' Clock this Morning he was fetched<lb></lb>
to Deced, That in less than a Quarter of an hour Dept<lb></lb>
went and found the Deced sitting in his Chair in his<lb></lb>
Bedchamber leaning backwards against the back of<lb></lb>
the Chair and a great Quantity of Blood upon the floor<lb></lb>
behind the Chair, and a leader Bullet in the Blood<lb></lb>
That the Deced held a Pistol in his Right Hand, that he<lb></lb>
had a Wound on the Right side of his Head above his<lb></lb>
Ear and the Flesh Shaftered, and a smaller Wound upon<lb></lb>
the leftside of his Head over the left Ear. That the Deced<lb></lb>
was dead. And this Dept. says that he believes the<lb></lb>
Deced was at times Disordered in his Senses;</p>

after went into his own Bed in the Garret and was<lb></lb>
called up this Morning by <rs type="persName" id="WACWIC65211_n667-3">George Barke</rs>

who said that his Master was in his Chair, and<lb></lb>
appeared to be frightened, Says that he went down<lb></lb>
into Deced's Room and saw him sitting in a Chair<lb></lb>
with a Pistol in his Right Hand and a great deal of<lb></lb>
Blood upon the Floor, Says that the Deced was dead<lb></lb>
but did not then see any Wound. Says that he want<lb></lb>
out of the Room and acquainted his fellow Servants<lb></lb>
therewith.</p>
